Subject: This change is Divinely guided…

You may remember that a few months ago I mentioned that my mantra for 2022 was: This change is Divinely guided.

Well, synchronicity struck the other day…

I was walking along my favorite nature trail when I was visited by this beautiful hawk. In all my years walking this trail, I have never seen a hawk.

S/he stayed with me for a little while, looking wise and majestic. I could not wait to get home to look up hawk symbolism and meaning.

Guess what one of the common hawk meanings is?

Yep, you guessed it: Adaptability.

According to a nature lovers guide, UniGuide:

“Even if you are going through an experience that is not your ideal situation, the hawk reminds you that every experience can be used as a launching pad to get closer to your objectives.

Like the hawk, you are equipped with a unique set of strengths, life skills, and experiences that you can use to your advantage. The hawk also reminds you that you have the wherewithal to get up and leave if a situation does not suit you. Seizing every opportunity you have right now will help to propel you faster to where you want to be in the future.”

Have you ever heard me say that every now and then, it’s time to upgrade our self-image?

For me, this becomes clearer when I start to receive messages from a variety of places, such as friends, colleagues, sometimes total strangers, and yes, even hawks. The messages will come often enough that it causes me to investigate my traditional view of Self and try on their view of me. And, eventually, to believe their view of me.

Hawk seemed to think I have skills for adaptability… And in that moment, I chose to believe Hawk.

For the remainder of my walk, memories flooded in of big moments in my life that were made manageable because of my ability to adapt and regroup.

do have skills for adaptability.

For that profound moment of time, I let go of fear of the unknown.

I let go of self-doubt.

embraced my well-worn, well-developed skills for adaptability.

trusted it. I trusted me. And I knew that…

These changes are Divinely guided.

May you receive multiple messages in this next month that remind you of your True Self, and may it bring you inner peace — and even possibly an upgraded self-image!
